Each person's journey to health is different; as unique as we are individual. The guidelines below will help to answer your initial questions. Should you have additional questions or concerns, feel free to ask me!

What is the initial consultation process like?

Before the consultation, I’ll ask you to share some basic information about your mental and physical health as well as some personal history with me so that I can be most efficient with our time once you arrive. When you arrive, I will have already pulled some supplements I think might help, but will need more information from you in order to narrow down or include additional options. 

The initial consultation lasts about 2 hours which allows us time for you to share your health history with me and provide me with additional color about your main concerns. We’ll strive to gather a full picture of your overall condition so that I can address your system as a whole rather than just the symptoms. Through tongue assessment, pulse testing and listening to you, we will collaborate to find the right mix of herbal supplements for you. 

How about consultations for kids?

To help accommodate children, who generally have a more limited attention span, we will schedule a 30-minute phone call before the consultation occurs to gather health history and a full picture of the health concerns.


During the consultation, I am all about flexibility. I will work within your child’s comfort zones to help ensure that the experience is positive, and that you and your child receive a beneficial and low-maintenance regimen. Consultations for children generally last 30-60 minutes total.

What about follow-up sessions?

For most situations, follow up visits are recommended within 4-6 weeks in order to see how you are progressing and to adjust the dosage. Remember: these supplements are tailored for your body and are meant to help rebalance, so we want to be sure that we’re helping it in the best way possible.


General guideline is to complete 3-4 visits within the first 3-5 months, which can be followed by additional sessions on an as-needed basis. 

How long will I need to take the herbs?

Although everyone's body is different, in general, herbs are not meant to be used for a lifetime. Rather, they are meant to help gently nudge your body back into balance so that your system can work to heal itself. Your need for certain herbs will fluctuate and change over time. 

Throughout our work together, we will adjust your supplements as your needs change and your body adjusts. My ultimate goal is to help guide your body back into a self-sustaining, self-regulating healthy environment that no longer needs to be assisted by herbs or flower essences.

What do I need to do to prepare for the session?

Many clients find it useful to create a list of concerns beforehand so that they are confident that nothing has been missed during the appointment. Consider your body from head to toe and write down anything that comes to mind. Include both past and present mental and physical concerns; all of the puzzle pieces that make up your health history. 

If you don't have time to do this, don't worry! We can walk through it during the session. 

I'll contact you before the appointment to get a high-level idea of your top concerns so that we can be most efficient with time when we meet.
